Swap a turbo CORE CARTRIDGE like this if u can:    • Volkswagen Passat turbo replacement turbo ...  , very similar to my 2013, but mine was Much More Difficult unfortunately. Do NOT use an Auto Zone turbo, Not this "RotoMaster" brand anyway. They may have another 1 that fits, idk. They had another 1 listed, but not in stock, I would NOT try it after this experience. This Wrong Auto Zone turbo cost just over $1,300 & did Not fit, guess I Should've known better. At least they gave me my $ back, thank goodness. I had planned to get an Ebay/Amazon Chinese core cartridge for less than $200, but I didn't have time to wait, so I had to go to the STEALership er I mean dealership & spend just over $1,400 for a while turbo assembly. Now I've got some parts I don't need that I'll try to sell to someone, hopefully somebody can use them. The 2012-2014 turbos were so notorious for wearing out prematurely, idk Why, that VW had an extended warranty &/or recall on them good for 10 years & 120,000 miles, too late for me Unfortunately. I just bought this car back in January, haven't even put quite 5,000 miles on it yet, Mercy. Hope this helps someone. take care, Leeroy
