In 2009 and 2010, I made the trek to Duluth, MN to capture Soo Line 2719 at work. I spent many hours over a number of days filming 2719 from trackside, in the cab, and aboard the train. The footage is edited in sequence with a single trip over the railroad. This is part 1, the Northbound leg of the trip. Special thanks goes to the management and volunteers of the North Shore Scenic Railroad, whose unending cooperation made this video possible. ****These videos are also dedicated in memory of Bob Oswald (the engineer in the cab ride footage), who passed away in February, 2012 at the age of 72. RIP Bob, you were a great guy and a great engineer!****
