Book Launch at Watkins Books | Cuckoo of Rigpa by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu

In February this year the Shang Shung Institute U.K. funded the book launch presentation of a new edition of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu's translation and commentary on the Rig pa'i Khu bug, or Six Vajra Verses at Watkins Bookstore in central London. Prof. Fabian Sanders presented the newly published book by Shang Shung Publications. The Six Vajra Verses are considered to be the root text of the Dzogchen Mind Series tradition out of which the entire view, meditation and action can be derived. In Tibet's ancient shamanistic tradition the cuckoo was seen as a magical bird, its call being the harbinger of Spring, so the Cuckoo of Rigpa here introduces the nature of mind.
