"Cognition, humanity’s exclusive privilege?" During his talk, Dimitris Pappas took us on a trip in the magical world of cognition. Dimitris Pappas is currently writing his PhD thesis at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, titled “Consciousness, given or emerging trait”, a theme that combines philosophy with the study of the mind, through contemporary cognitive science. He is a professional science, informatics and mathematics teacher since 2003. At the same time he composes and materializes innovative and interactive science teaching programs that combine different scientific fields, even construction skills. In this context he has created the “MindFest” interactive exhibition for the mind and knowledge.
