Apologies in advance for the quality of my recording, as with my other video, it was not intended for YouTube when I filmed it! This is the full version of “Needles and Pins” from The Searchers very last gig at Glastonbury 2025. I know that there is much upset that the BBC did not cover this incredible and musically important performance. I understand that the Acoustic Stage is not included in the BBC’s standard Glastonbury coverage, but it seems so wrong that they did not send in a special film crew just for this, especially having featured The Searchers in news articles before the gig. I think the BBC should make amends somehow. Anyway, I’m pleased that other peoples’ videos have started to appear on here, taken from a better vantage point than I had.
