The Rt. Rev. Br. Mark D’Alessio is a Franciscan friar, Zen Buddhist lay minister, and interspiritual leader. With years of experience as a spiritual director, chaplain, and retreat leader, he brings together Christian and Buddhist wisdom to support inner transformation and social healing. Br. Mark founded the Franciscan Circle, an interfaith community dedicated to contemplative practice and compassionate action. He’s also a faculty member at the Guild for Spiritual Guidance and All Faiths Seminary International, where he trains spiritual caregivers and ministers. Passionate about serving the marginalized, he previously worked with the homeless and children with emotional disabilities. Br. Mark’s approach combines deep contemplative spirituality with a commitment to justice, compassion, and community building.
