In this educational video for young cancer patients and their parents and/or support persons, also translated into Arabic, Greek, Italian, Mandarin and Vietnamese, we’ll explain paediatric onco-fertility, or fertility preservation options for children and young adults. Several safe and effective onco-fertility options are now open to cancer patients, but, often, a small window exists, just before starting cancer treatment, when a patient needs timely information to make informed decisions about preserving their fertility. Fertility After Cancer is a national awareness campaign from WCMICS, with experts from the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, to help cancer patients learn about their options to preserve their chances of having children later in life.
