The WCC Talk Show: The Ecumenical Review, with Dr Stephen Brown

The Ecumenical Review is a quarterly theological journal, founded almost at the same time as the World Council of Churches (WCC), by the first WCC general secretary W.A. Visser 't Hooft. Each issue focuses on a theme of current importance to the movement for Christian unity, and each volume includes academic as well as practical analysis of significant moments in the quest for closer church fellowship and inter-religious dialogue. In this video clip, Stephen Brown speaks about the long-standing value of The Ecumenical Review as a resource for theological research and teaching about ecumenism in faculties and seminaries, as well as the challenges and opportunities of digitalization. Dr Stephen G. Brown is the editor of The Ecumenical Review and coordinating editor of World Council of Churches journals. He was one of the WCC staff members who presented their work in the form of a talk show during a meeting of the ecumenical officers' network, which brought together some forty professionals working on ecumenical relations in different WCC member churches in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East as well as North and South America.
