filmed on April 4th 2023. A bike ride from Willaston, originally an agricultural community and the Windmill still exists, now more of a commuter village. it's 8 miles from Liverpool and 10 miles from Chester. It once had it's own railway on Hadlow Road, which now forms part of the Wirral Way footpath. The ride goes past possibly the oldest pub on the Wirral, The Wheatsheaf, 1611, in Raby, locally known as the 'Thatch'. Then arriving in Thornton Hough, probably most well known for its links with William Lever, of Lever Brothers although the model village was originally developed by Joseph Hirst, a Yorkshire woollen mill-owner.
