It's not my favorite; I definitely prefer feeling the snow and I longing to experience the adventure of the mountains. For now, I can admire the majesty from the Aiguille du Midi of the longed-for and dreamed-of Mont Blanc, perceive its energy, its imposing grandeur, distant, and yet, so close. Through these mountains, great historical feats of climbers and mountaineers have been recounted, some of them tales of extreme survival that have inspired and shaped alpinism. I am just an admirer, an introspective observer, someone whom the mountain has silently called to all your life, whispering an inexplicable emotion, one that even someone who has never been near a mountain, or climbed a summit, or experienced one can't quite grasp. The truth is that the mountain, whatever it may be, changes you, and it will find you. Gazing at Mont Blanc is a dream, one I've had for many years. There it was, before me, nestled beside the majestic mountain range of France, Switzerland, and Italy the most spectacular views I had ever seen, so close, profoundly moving.The mountains and nature have impacted my life.
