UPDATE 4/11/2024: Skip the manifold, peeps!! It's not worth the effort. The few times you need to filter with GFO or carbon, you can just drop a small pump and canister in the sump. In general, the kind of over-filtration I started with in this video led to massive cyano, then dino blooms, and tbh, I'm still battling both to this day. If you're gonna build a manifold, keep it to the UV sterilizer and one other gate valve for whatever. I should add, attaching the canisters with those little plastic finger screws is a huge pain.
