I originally wasn't as in tune with what was going on generally with 17BUCKS earlier in development, so when I alongside a couple of others were approached with remaking a song more aligned with the creator's vision for the update, I did my best to research, study the song, and make sure at least the essence of the song was somewhat similar. It became a place to represent the things I like alongside Turnip as a character along with Froad. I sampled my favorite musicians and said progressions. I'm not great at Mario stuff. (This is also why Froad looks so different. He is just an actual toad with a different skin tone. Not everyone has to walk around with a giant chain on. It's also why I gave him his own time to shine!) I never feel great about replacing songs in general, but I cannot deny that I absolutely loved working on it. I was very much inspired by the remix fluffyhairs made and decided to utilize it. They've been an inspiration for me for a long time, but nobody say a word. Thank you ACOG for the live drums, thanks Gabe for the amazing toad impression, thank you Lily for the extra toad coughs, and thank you all for enjoying the original song.
