In this special episode of the Book Series, our producer Anotida Chikumbu sits with Leonce Ndikumana - Distinguished Professor of Economics, Director of African Development Policy Program at the Political Economy Research Institute of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, USA. In spring 2025, Professor Leonce Ndikumana will be teaching a course on ''The Practice of Development Policy and International Cooperation'' (ECON 568). It is an MA/PhD course also open to advanced undergraduates in Economics. MA/PhD students can be from other fields/departments. This is a course that would interest students whose goals include working in the development policy arena in governments and international institutions, as well as (for MA students) pursuing doctoral studies in development studies and international relations.
