Yes, I suppose in certain aspects, but firstly, I would say that the first-half performance today was completely unacceptable from our point of view. We were miles off it—not just one player, but a lot of players shying away from the ball, making mistakes, not taking responsibility, and then individual errors again. A lot of issues we’ve talked about previously, but also, the lack of fight and belief in the first half was missing for me. They definitely played as if they wanted to win the game, whereas we looked like a team that needed points but lacked that drive. That was definitely my frustration at halftime. We made a few changes to try and get back into the game, and I thought the second half showed a bit more fight. But it's very hard to draw any positives today when you see the scoreline and the situation we’re in. It’s definitely a collective issue; everyone is in it together, obviously. But individually, you have to ask, "Are you doing enough? Are you taking enough responsibility?" I’ve talked about accountability a lot, but at the same time, whether it’s me or anyone else, nothing is going to change between now and Christmas—this is the squad of players we’ve got. There’s no point feeling sorry for ourselves or hoping someone else will change it for us. It’s up to us to turn it around as quickly as we can. For the first half, it’s the first time I’ve seen this kind of performance this season. It's the first time I’ve had to apologize to the fans, which I’ll do again now for the first-half performance. Even though we’ve struggled in the league, there’s usually been something positive to draw on, but today it’s hard to find any positives. That’s probably the part that angers me the most, given the situation we’re in. This was really, really poor in the first half. So many players were off, lacking quality, decision-making… The only time we showed a bit of quality, we hit the post. But that first half was just so unlike us. It’s a reminder of the level we’re operating at—if you make mistakes like we have, you get punished. And we got punished again today. I’m not worried or scared, but I fully understand the noise around us, and it's justifiable because of the situation we’re in. This is a new squad, and while I could list a bunch of excuses, the reality is where we are right now just isn’t good enough. Until someone tells me otherwise, I’m going to keep working as hard as I can because no one is more frustrated than I am. I also know what we have in this group and what we can be, but that 45 minutes was so unlike us. We need to bounce back quickly because the players aren’t going to change between now and January. It’s up to all of us to work together and get through this period. Regarding January, I think we have a squad of players here that I’ve been fairly consistent with in terms of selection. But now, where we find ourselves, it’s about every single player stepping up. It’s not about ripping everything up because I believe in the quality we have, but we need to start showing it. One thing I’ll say is that, although it's hard to draw positives given where we are, we did go right to the very end today. I think if we had scored the penalty around the hour mark, it would’ve changed the game because it would’ve given us momentum. You know what it’s like—when you’re down and score, you can build from there. But missing the penalty probably deflated us a bit, though the players kept trying to do the right things. They got the goal, and the little flurry at the end showed they were willing to go right to the very end. As for feeling deflated, I wouldn’t say I’ve seen it during the week. In training, it’s one thing, but it’s different when you’re in front of 20,000 people and dealing with adversity against a tough opponent. St. Mirren were well-organized and came here to win, not just to sit back. Based on our first-half performance, they deserved to be in front and could’ve been up by more. Leave a comment with your reaction to Hibs 1-2 St Mirren and if you feel David Gray will be sacked as manager of Hibernian. #hibs #hibsfc #hibernian
