Eliza is known as an enthusiastic educator and loves watching artists find a greater sense of self through their movement ♥️ Eliza’s theater class explores how musicality can propel a narrative! Class begins with a full warm-up in center that moves through dynamic jazz/ballet based exercises designed to activate and connect dancers to their breath, core, and spine, allowing the body to warm up from the inside out. Class combos celebrate the titans of Jazz dance while incorporating a contemporary perspective. Each combo strives to challenge the dancers to let the intention drive the material while actively developing and honing musicality, style, technique, and presence. Music is eclectic and ranges from jazz standards to funk to rock to contemporary pop. To know her is to be in awe of her, and we feel extremely lucky that Eliza is choosing to share her years of experience and knowledge with us in the Steps Studios.
