NEW RESPIRATOR FOR PAINT STRIPPING// 3M 6200 respirator and vapour filters unboxing

In this unboxing video I look at my new 3M 6200 half-face respirator and A2 6055 organic vapour filter cartridges, which I've purchased in order to protect myself when using paint stripper on my bike restoration projects. In this video I go through the contents of the boxes and show how to assemble and fit the mask and test the fit. The paint stripper that I'm using contains Benzyl alcohol which is an organic solvent that is harmful when breathed in. These filters are rated to protect against organic vapours found in spray paints and paint strippers so should protect me when I'm pouring out and brushing on the paint stripper. They don't protect against particulates so if I want to use spray paints then I will need to get a particulate filter too which clips on top of the vapour cartridge. I hope you enjoy this video.
