(ZDoom) 3D Floors Demonstration
Most people aren't aware that ZDoom, like GZDoom, now supports 3D floors. What this means is that you can create sectors suspended in the air, structures with multiple floors, and much more. This video demonstrates just a few simple maps I whipped together to show 3D floors in action and give you an idea of just how much potential there is if you can put your imagination to the test. In order to use 3D floors with ZDoom, you MUST have version r3124 or later. The latest version on the official ZDoom website DOES NOT support this feature! In order to download one of the latest revisions which does support this feature, please visit the following link: http://svn.drdteam.org/zdoom/ New revisions are uploaded every few days, but you don't have to worry about constantly grabbing the latest one. As long as you have one of the most recent versions, you should be just fine and 3D floors will be available to you. Stay tuned for upcoming video tutorials showing just how exactly to use this feature!
