It was a seedling of Lemon Meringue, making it a sibling of the Lemon Zest mango. The fruit is medium-sized, with an oval-oblong shape, turning yellow at maturity with orange fiberless flesh. The flavor is incredibly rich and sweet with a strong, complex orange-citrus candy flavor. The seed is polyembryonic. The trees are moderately vigorous growers and good producers. We have found that its resistance to bacterial black spots is better than its parent lemon Meringue and sibling Lemon Zest.
