I don't even know what project this is for but like you, I will be watching Vice grip garage to see What Derek does with it. I have never had the pleasure of meeting Derek but the guys in his crew say he is a pretty genuine guy. How many people say good things about their boss? Well, his guys do. To be honest, he was the reason I started my channel. My mentor you might say. I just liked the way he used junk parts that were laying around to build stuff. The big clincher was "I'll be dipped"! I have been saying "I'll be dipped in horse pucky" since I was a kid. Hearing him say the short version won me over. Nonetheless, I got a call from one of his crew for an A-body Mopar 8.75 Differential housing and some axles with a 5 on 4.5" bolt spacing. I sold him the one that went into the giveaway Duster and even got to help with the install, but the video got lost when my computer crashed. This time I was fresh out of A-body diffs except for this one that was lacking the perches. Believe it or not, there was no rush (not normal for Derek), but I still put installing the perches on the top of my list and ordered some sweet alloy axles for it. It's not every day you get to work on something for your mentor but today I did, and you get to watch.
