When you are in Pench, there's one experience besides the safaris ie, which is a must do is a stay at either or preferably both of the properties that Jungle Camps India maintains within the Rukkhad buffer. These are the Jal Mahal which overlooks the large lake, and the Daldali which overlooks a waterbody within the forest. We stayed at Jal Mahal, and the wonderful team at Rukkhad Jungle Camp also gave us a tour of the Daldali (to prep us for our next visit there). Both properties are very unique, and give you that perfect feeling of staying right within the Jungle. Excellent opportunities therefore for spotting wildlife, and savoring the natural beauty that is all around. By the way, the rooms at Rukkhad Jungle Camp are fabulous too.
