Echo items change a lot of stuff watch • OSRS Leagues 5 - Echo Items Theorycrafting... I have updated the information on Soulreaper in this video: • The Soulreaper does NOT require Desert - O... Updates: Correction: Water Surge and Earth Surge do not have a lower max hit than Fire Surge does. Fire Surge is still the best here because Kourend gives us Ancestral/Augury. Correction: The OSRS discord suggests Vardorvis will be in Varlamore. Correction: The Whisperer, Duke Sucellus and Vardorvis can be killed without the completion of Desert Treasure 2 meaning Desert is not required. Leviathan is still locked behind access to Guardians of the Rift which requires Desert. Update: "We likely won't see 2k monkey laps/4k chompy bird tasks again this league as they have removed a lot of grindy tasks." per the OSRS Leagues Discord. This makes Kandarin a better area for melee (hibrid) and magic. Update: "The teamwide purples for toa/tob they announced before is only on hmt and 500+ invo toa. If someone would have got a purple in the raid, then everyone gets one. Which is the reasoning behind the 3x multi being brought down to 2x. Overall rates are a lot higher and promote group play, but solo rates are down a touch" - "It seems the point cap for ToA will be back so the chance of purple should cap out at approx 55%? " per the OSRS Leagues Discord. I don't like the 55% cap, seeing I'm biased against ToA this devalues Desert for me personally. Update: "Megarares are still intended to be absolute bis. Most echo rewards are just below bis(think blowpipe) but better than virtually everything else, with some quirks". This reinforces the way I route in my video, which is good for me. :-) --------------- I re-recorded this video multiple times and cannot seem to get it within 20-30 minutes. So long-form content it is. :') Leagues 5 is relatively far away, however, I made an attempt to get every bit of information sorted as of right now. I fully expect Jagex to not give us all the information we need up until very close to the release date, so I'd rather share what I have with you guys already. This video is a deep dive into your options as a player in Leagues 5 - Raging Echoes. If you do not feel like watching the full 47 minutes, consider watching only the melee, ranged or magic sections of this video. I have introduced chapters for this reason. There's still a bunch about Leagues 5 that we don't know. This video is focusing on what we do know but we are taking the unknown (echo loot specifically) into the equation. Because it is safe to assume that Jagex will probably give us the range/melee/magic relics as an option, we can theorycraft some routes with this information. I feel like the outcome of my theorycrafting was tangible enough to share with you already.
