Continuing with the insane world the mathematical ‘physicists’ have invented, we walk into the Alice-in-Wonderland micro-universe of Quantum Chromo-Dynamics (QCD).The mathematicians weren’t satisfied with inventing quarks to explain why protons have charge and neutrons don’t. They had to explain how three quarks having only 2 spins (+1/2 and -1/2) could avoid violating Pauli’s Exclusion Principle inside the fermionic ball. Ergo, they invented ‘color charge’, a new Quantum number. These days, this Quantum ‘state’ is used to explain why positive protons don’t repel each other inside the nucleus.
