We spend a rainy day on the ROAD TO NUSFJORD! Exploring the old fishing village and warming up in LOFOTEN SAUNA! On this episode of Mapping It, we get an early start to our RAINY DAY IN LOFOTEN. We spend the majority of the day exploring the HISTORIC FISHING VILLAGE of NUSFJORD. If there ever was a place more perfectly suited to a Wes Anderson movie, this is it! Nusfjord is perhaps the MOST CHARMING TOWN IN LOFOTEN, with its red and yellow houses and old fishing boats. After wandering around town, we get lunch at the local cafe. Then we head to SVOLVÆR to warm up at LOFOTEN SAUNA, a stunning FLOATING SAUNA in NORTHERN NORWAY! We even SWIM IN THE ARCTIC - it's a chilling experience! We end the night at HOV GÅRD with beautiful views of the sea.
