THE VAULT SERIES I w/ Dweezil Zappa

The time has come to delve into my video archives! In this new 'Vault Series' I will be releasing never-before-seen concert footage. There's loads of it spanning across many years of touring so if you enjoy this... Stay Tuned for More! There is also a trove of music & video on my website : http://dweezilzappa.com This video comes from a concert in Austin Texas in 2007. The show was filmed in its entirety by my good friend Charlie Boswell ( He edited this video performance as well), and was kind enough to give me the walnut SG I played for the first several years on tour. The video is low resolution and the audio is from the F.O.H. mix, which has not been embellished with any mastering. Remarkably we played 30 songs in that show, spanning a huge cross section of my dad's career including his orchestral music. In this video we are playing the incredibly complex composition, "G-Spot Tornado" from the 'Yellow Shark' record. That tour also featured my band playing the classic 'Absolutely Free' album arrangements of "Suzy Creamcheese" - "Brown Shoes Don't Make It" - "America Drinks and Goes Home", all segued together like the record.
