Speaking on girl self-immolation incident, Odisha Crime Branch DG Vinaytosh Mishra on July 20 informed that they are investigation every aspects of the case. “As far as you know, this incident of the case was happened on July 12 and Crime Against Women Wing, which is under Crime Branch, started the investigation on July 17. In the initial stage, two men were arrested by the local police. We are investigating every aspects of the case. As far as we examined, the incident has started from about June 30 and culminated it on July 12. The girl registered her complaint on July 30. After that, college authorities set up a committee and started an enquiry on it. After that, I think the report was not in her favour. That’s why, she went to Principal for that. We also don’t have a clarity what happened with her talk with Principal. After that, she took the risk in front of Principal’s room. Ever since we started investigation, we have collected all the evidence. We have taken a lot of CCTV footage from inside the college and outside the collage….
