We get a lot of calls and emails from Husqvarna Automower owners that experience a cutting height adjustment error. This is most common on the 450X EPOS, 450XH EPOS, 520 EPOS, 520H EPOS, 550 EPOS, and 550H EPOS models of Husqvarna Automowers because they calibrate the cutting height every time they leave the charging station. The calibration process the mower performs is having the cutting motor height adjust through the entire cutting height range to ensure that it is at the correct height for the zone it is heading out to mow. As you will see in this video, one of the common issues we see is divots worn into the side of the electric motor housing. This is caused by prolonged vibration of the cutting system. The spring tabs that help hold the Automower's cutting motor housing steady eventually wear divots into the housing and then end up seating in the divots when which causes extra drag and resistance on the cutting height adjustment motor.
