Vinding Church is a medieval church in Vinding Parish in Vejle Municipality. Until the Local Government Reform in 1970, the church was located in Holmans Herred (Vejle County). The church consists of nave and chancel, tower to the west and porch to the south. Ship and choir are from Romanesque times, approx. 1150 of granite blocks on plinth with sloping edge. The chancel arch has been preserved, the north door and two original windows can be seen bricked up. In the walls of the nave there are two granite stones with figures. In the later Middle Ages, the tower was added of the same width as the nave, with a round arch into the nave, of monk stone. The porch is of new, small stones. The whole church has a flat ceiling, the tower room has probably been vaulted; 1573 the church is mentioned as very dilapidated. The altarpiece and pulpit are from the end of the 18th century. Figures from an older Gothic plaque can be found in the church. There is a Romanesque granite baptismal font. The altarpiece is from 1765, donated by merchant Jens Fævejle from Vejle, who had then bought the church from the crown. [1] The church's furniture was renovated in 2008 with a new altarpiece by Maja Lisa Engelhardt and a new granite altar table, designed by architect Ebbe Lehn Petersen.
