Right, we’ve finally made it to Disney’s Animal Kingdom with about five hours to spare, but the question is, Did We Actually See Animals at Disney? Join Lady K and me as we wander through Pandora (lots of floating rocks, very blue), attempt to use a pressed penny machine without looking incompetent, and hop on a safari where I learn that a group of hippos is called a "bloat"—which is coincidentally how I feel after a Disney lunch. We also survived the "Feathered Friends in Flight" show, though Lady K might need therapy after those birds swooped a bit too close for comfort. We saw tigers, a gorilla that was actually awake (for once), and the Tree of Life, which I’m told has an eagle carved on it if you squint hard enough. Ending the day back at the hotel with feet that are absolutely screaming at me thanks to some questionable insoles, and reviewing a Raspberry Lemonade Hard Cider that is... well, let’s just say it’s liquid.
