The Vibe Remains The Same live at Barrymore's Ottawa Canada. I have to start out by saying my old pal on vocals really pulled off an incredible performance.....take a bow Mr Labelle. This video is part 2 of our cover of Led Zeppelin's live version of Whole Lotta Love from their 1976 movie The Song Remains The Same. All of my videos will sound much better on decent headphones. Since this song is about 14 minutes long, I decided to cut it into two parts. This video is the second half of the song, and part 1 is obviously the first half. I also posted an earlier version of this video in it's entirety, however; when I edited it into 2 parts I updated video editing of the three cameras, and the sound is also synced to the video better this time around. Front of house went a bit overboard at times with the delay and reverb on this particular gig, and after this gig we realized we needed to have our own sound man. Sadly none of the other Barrymore's gig's with him at the helm were ever recorded. There were a few technical issues as I mentioned in the description for part 1 of this song. It may be worth mentioning that a very small portion of this song was not recorded at all. I divided it at that point where the audio was missing because that made sense. The part that is missing is at the main guitar solo, but I have another performance of the same song from a smaller venue and the solo is there if you want to hear it. The Vibe Remains The Same were; Al LaBelle vocals, Dan Ferguson guitar, Steve Geyer keyboards, Chris Srang drums and Denis St Amour bass.
