I've been looking for a weight loss programme tailored to athletes for a long time so I was excited when Paul Fabritz (founder of PJF Performance) announced that he would be releasing Fat Don't Fly on the PJF Podcast. The timing was perfect because I'd just finished 3 months on the Vert Code Bodyweight and I thought about upgrading to the Vert Code Elite but Fat Don't Fly seemed the better option due to my personal body goals and the knee pain (patellar tendonitis) that I've had for many years. I completed this weight loss programme from home during September & October 2020 because I wanted to see if I could get more lean without a gym. This Fat Don't Fly review will help you understand the pros and cons of the programme before signing up to it (as well as show you my before and after body transformation). I've broken it down into 5 different aspects: Cost, User Interfaces, Coaching, Workout Programme & Potential for Progress. For each category, I'll give it a score out of 10 and then average out all the scores to come to a final rating for the whole Fat Don't Fly program. I did experience some positive fat loss results on the programme (not as much as I'd hoped) so my body composition changed (more lean muscle mass). I also saw my vertical jump increase (2 inch vertical leap gain) which suggests an increase in fast twitch muscle fibres. I wasn't expecting these results from an at home workout programme so that was a pleasant surprise. I personally think that it's another great program by PJF and would highly recommend it.
