Especially the performance of the larger motor and the softer tires of the MN99 in some 'crawler challenges' in the sand. But both my 'test drivers' of today was more into full throttle and having a whole lot of fun. So that's how it went this day, a windy day in the fall by the beach. So I actually didn't get to do any test driving myself, and what the day showed instead was that, no matter the differences of motor, proportional steering, battery placement, tires and price, these two cars are equally fun, when the transmitter is placed in the right hands. Funny enough, after a while, my son started showing a keen interest in going off with the cars for some crawling and trail runs, even showing his mom that you actually can go slow (though if she actually got it I don't know). But at that time the tiny battery of the MN45 was coming to an end, so any comparison footage was futile. But my son and his mother had a blast. For me the smiles of my son and the look of the Toyota Land Cruiser and Land Rover Defender running side by side was more than enough. I might try for a real comparison video again another day if i can detect some interest.
