Bavarian Hefeweizen - Northern Brewer- 1 gal.

In this video, I brew 1 gallon of Bavarian Hefeweizen from Northern Brewer. The 1 gallon kit I used includes Dry Malt Extract, Hops and Yeast. It also includes primer sugar candies that can be used to prime the beer in individual bottles. I chose to put my beer in a small 1 gallon keg and primed it with sugar. The total process from start to glass was 4 weeks. It turned out very good with a nice color, head, mouthfeel and taste. When I saw that American Ale yeast was used, I was a bit worried that the flavor would not be on point. I’m happy to report that this kit produces an outstanding Hefeweizen beer.
