కార్తీక పురాణం 30వ రోజు కథ Karthika Puranam 30th day story Karthika Puranam – 30th Day Story The Sacred Conclusion – Attaining Shiva’s Grace The 30th day of Karthika Deepa month is considered extremely divine. It marks the completion of a full month of Deepa Seva, Shiva Pooja, Tulasi worship, fasting, and listening to the sacred stories of Karthika Puranam. This last day highlights the ultimate purpose of the entire month: attaining purity, devotion, and the blessings of Lord Shiva. ⸻ 🌼 The Essence of the Final Day Once, in ancient times, the sages in Naimisharanya asked Suta Maharshi: “O Revered One! After hearing the sacred stories for the whole month, what is the final teaching of Karthika Puranam?” Suta Maharshi replied: 1. The Power of Karthika Observance Anyone who performs even the simplest Seva in this month— lighting a lamp, offering even a single Bilva leaf, chanting Om Namah Shivaya, or giving food to a poor person— acquires immense merit equal to performing many Yajnas. Even small acts, done with sincerity, reach Lord Shiva directly. ⸻ 2. The Story of the Poor Brahmin Couple On the final day, Suta Maharshi narrates a beautiful example: There once lived a very poor Brahmin couple. Throughout the month of Karthika, they could not perform grand rituals. But they maintained purity, lit a small lamp with devotion, and listened to stories of Lord Shiva. On the last day, they offered a simple meal to a passerby— not knowing that the guest was Lord Shiva in disguise. Pleased by their devotion, Shiva granted them: • Peace in life • Prosperity • Liberation after death This story proves that intention is greater than wealth. ⸻ 3. Importance of Deepa Dana (Lamp Offering) The final day emphasizes lighting lamps in: • Temples • Riverbanks • Sacred trees • In front of Shiva Lingam A single lamp lit on this day is said to destroy the darkness of many births. ⸻ 4. Completing the Vratam Those who observed Karthika Vrata for an entire month must do the following on the 30th day: • Perform a special Shiva Abhishekam • Offer Ghee Deepam • Feed Brahmins or poor people • Donate clothes, lamps, ghee, or food This symbolizes completing the vow with gratitude. ⸻ 5. Attaining Liberation (Moksha) Suta Maharshi concludes: “Listening to or narrating Karthika Puranam on the final day grants the merit of visiting all sacred pilgrimages and performing many Yajnas.” The heart becomes purified, and the blessings of: • Lord Shiva • Goddess Gauri • Lord Vishnu • All holy rivers flow into the devotee’s life. ⸻ Conclusion Message for Your Video The 30th day marks the spiritual completion of the sacred month. It reminds us that the true purpose of Karthika is: • Devotion • Discipline • Charity • Purity • Surrender to Shiva Those who observe the month with faith receive unending blessings in this life and the next.
