PM Modi Visits World’s Largest Wildlife Rescue Centre at Jamnagar | Inside Vantara 🐘🦁

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and visited Vantara, a massive wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Vantara is home to over 1.5 lakh rescued, endangered and threatened animals representing more than 2,000 species. The Prime Minister explored the state-of-the-art wildlife hospital equipped with MRI, CT Scan, ICU, and specialized veterinary departments like Cardiology, Nephrology, Dentistry, Endoscopy, and Wildlife Anesthesia. During the visit, PM Modi interacted closely with rescued animals including lion cubs, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and many rare species. He witnessed life-saving surgeries, advanced diagnostics, and rehabilitation efforts designed to mirror animals' natural habitats. Key conservation programs at Vantara focus on: • Asiatic Lions • Snow Leopards • One-Horned Rhinoceroses • Rare and endangered wildlife species The centre also houses the world’s largest elephant hospital, hydrotherapy pools for elephant recovery, and dedicated breeding and rewilding programs for species that are disappearing from India. PM Modi also released rescued parrots back into nature and interacted with veterinarians, doctors, and staff working tirelessly to protect wildlife.
