I recently won a Nokta Triple Score Detector in a raffle. I'd already tried it out on my test bed at home to learn the basics so now it was time to trial it properly in the field. Luckily my win coincided with the DCDD detecting weekender at nearby Hermitage (near Dorchester) so I popped along for a day's detecting using the Nokta Score, accompanied by my "ever-faithful and obedient" dog Ace (😂) I soon realised that it didn't behave anything like my old XP Deus detector and I'd need to do a lot more learning before I could confidently metal detect with the Score. Still, I did manage to find some Silver with it 😁 Unfortunately, the audio recording failure wasn't the SD card as I tested the camera both with and without the media module using three different cards. The camera had an intermittent fault on every test...
