Masculine energy is assertive, direct, and action-oriented • Rules the left brain • Always doing • Logical thinking • Decisive in action What is feminine energy? Feminine energy is the receptive, nurturing, and passive • Rules the right brain • Compassionate • Understanding • Receptive • Nurturing and wants connection Masculine is the DOING energy and feminine is the BEING energy. In the United States, the masculine energy is by far the dominant want of being. We spend most of our time in masculine (doing) energy and struggle to switch it off outside of work. How can these energies being unbalanced create anxiety? When either energy becomes dominant that's when life feels off-balance and feel anxious. And if you’re in a state of chronic masculine energy, you’ll eventually feel severe anxiety and burnout because of that DOING. When feminine energy is too dominant you are really in the feeling state, not the thinking or action state. you feel unfocused, scattered and unstable, ungrounded. No purpose or direction and therefore feel no sense of success.
