I wanted to do a quick and easy laptop tray DIY to prevent my laptop from over-heating. I got the idea from Etsy. Turns out this DIY was not so quick, and not so easy, so I ended up experimenting with my jigsaw. You can always learn from my trial and error process and make a beautiful laptop tray.
