In this video I unbox a green screen, some clamps, and a backdrop stand. Then we set it up and test it out real quick. Green screens are used in photography and video for several effects, such as removing (keying out) a background and replacing it with a picture or video. Everyone is familiar with the term "green screen" but in reality you are not limited to using just green for your backdrop. It really depends on the subject you have in front of the backdrop and what you intend to do. Blue, Black, and White are also common colors for a backdrop. The setup I show in this video is inexpensive, so if you are interested in getting into green screen effects, here are the product links: LimoStudio Stand http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L... LimoStudio Clamps/Clips http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005... FancierStudio 6'X9' Chroma Key Green Screen http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001... At the end of the video I do a quick test of the green screen. The keys were not perfect, but it was not due to the screen, there were some lighting issues, but it turned out ok for this demo. I used Media Composer for the NLE and AvidFX (Boris Red) for the ChromaKey effect.
