This class was designed in collaboration with Hospices of Hope and is taught by The Ballet Spot's founder and owner Eliza. This brief ballet class progresses from seated, to dancing with a barre, to dancing in the center. The intention is to be welcoming for all physical ability levels, so no matter what feels best, everyone is able to dance. It offers integrated services through its two centres in Brașov and Bucharest and the Adunații Copăceni socio-medical center dedicated entirely to pediatric patients and their families. Since the foundation got its start, it has served over 45.000 patients and over 100.000 of their family members. All HOSPICE services are free of charge to patients.HOSPICE was founded in April 1992 as an Anglo-Romanian hospice charity by Graham Perolls, who first came to Romania as a tourist and witnessed first-hand the harsh hospital conditions for incurable patients. Before 1992, the concept of palliative care did not even exist in Romanian culture and the national medical system had very little to offer for those diagnosed with an incurable illness.
