A Look Back at the 15th International Indigenous Film Festival

The 15th International Festival of Indigenous Peoples’ Film and Communicationss was a space to celebrate cinema with our own voices and images. Over 9 days, more than 2,000 people experienced powerful stories from Indigenous peoples across North, South, and Central America, the Caribbean, the Arctic, Europe, and the Pacific. More than 50 films were screened at universities and cultural spaces, and 18 works were recognized by an international jury for the strength of their storytelling.
