We couldn’t resist a full walkthrough tour and review at the Düsseldorf Boat Show of one of the best-looking and most evocative 50ft sportscruisers on the water. If you can draw your eyes away from the irresistible woodwork and twinkling stainless steel you’ll notice that there is a lot more to the Dolecriva than drop dead gorgeous looks. The cockpit is a day boating paradise thanks to its transom-mounted drop-down sunloungers and the spacious cockpit with a dinette that spreads across the full beam of the cockpit. Below decks, there is a double owner’s cabin forward and a twin amidships plus a decent galley that is subtly hidden under a counter when not in use. Engine options are both Volvo Penta D13 with either 900hp or 1,000hp per side running on traditional shaft drives. The ultimate day boat?
