Raghav Chadha raised an important issue in Parliament about menstrual hygiene, stigma, and dignity for women and girls in India. Periods are a natural biological process, yet millions of girls across the country still face stigma, silence, and lack of basic facilities. In many schools, girls miss classes simply because sanitary pads, clean water, and private washrooms are not available. Raghav Chadha highlighted how menstrual health is not a personal issue but a public health, education, and dignity issue affecting more than 35 crore women and girls in India. In many parts of the country, sanitary pads are still wrapped in newspaper and treated as something that must be hidden. A biological reality has been turned into a social taboo. Menstrual hygiene should not be seen as charity or a favour. It is about health, equality, and the right of every girl to study, live with dignity, and speak openly without fear or shame. -------------- raghav chadha menstrual hygiene speech, periods stigma india parliament, menstrual health india issue, sanitary pads access india, girls missing school periods india, menstrual hygiene awareness india, women health dignity india -------- #RaghavChadha #MenstrualHygiene #PeriodsAreNatural #EndTheStigma #WomenHealth #GirlsEducation #DignityForWomen #PublicHealth #ParliamentSpeech
