You want to feel good about yourself and of course, when your husband says mean or nasty things, it makes you feel bad but there's a reason why and it's not on him. I'm not blaming you that's not what I'm talking about when I say it's not on him. Men are as uneducated as women are in our society about marriage so they make mistakes. Now there are some abusive husbands out there and that's a different topic altogether. You could write to one of our counselors and you could get some suggestions. But this particular topic is not about your husband, it's really about you. We don't learn these things growing up and we should. We don't learn that our mind is a possession that we have a mind. It's a tool, it's a useful tool. We use it to get along to live in the world to bring things in and analyze, decide what it means and then do with it as we wish. And this is the key point, you have free will as you wish. The information coming in different people filter their information in different ways. So there are some women and I'm not suggesting that you are, are super sensitive. Other women, and clearly you're not are hard and they don't hear things as insults. They don't take things personally, and the tricking.
