I never imagined I would begin my journey to becoming a doctor during a global pandemic. Despite nearly all events being virtual, it did not take away from my overwhelming excitement for orientation to officially kick off my start to medical school. I am incredibly grateful to be surrounded by the community here and humbled to be a part of the Class of 2024. Orientation week was a time for reflection on my path to getting into medical school and there are still times I cannot believe I am here... but thankfully, I am constantly reminded by my peers that we all do belong here!
