In honour of Remembrance Sunday, listen to the read-aloud of "In Flanders Fields" by John McCrae. This beautiful and touching poem was originally written in 1915 after John McCrae sadly lost a friend in the war. He then saw poppies growing on the battlefields. Poppies are now remarked as a sign of Remembrance. Please give a moment to listen to this poem, and use the end to give a moment of thought to those who have sadly fought and lost their lives. The illustrations and video graphics have been carefully selected to ensure they are appropriate for children's educational purposes. Please feel free to share this video to educate the next generation on Remembrance Sunday and the World Wars.
