SOUL TATTOO: We are not falling apart, we’re being forged. If God is going to use us, He’s going to forge us. In its natural state, steel is: Rigid Resistant Unyielding Isaiah 48:10 (NIV) “Refined” in Hebrew literally means, to melt down, to burn, to remove what doesn’t belong. James 1:2-4 (NIV) “Testing” means to prove something is real. 1 Peter 1:7 (NLT) Jeremiah 18:4 (NIV) It tells us that God: Refines Tests Purifies And forms His people Because God doesn’t just save us, He desires to shape us. Daniel 2:49 (NIV) Daniel 3:1-30 (NIV) Daniel 3:16-18 (NIV) This is not casual faith, this is forged faith. SOUL TATTOO: We are not falling apart, we’re being forged. 1.) Pressure reveals who we really serve. Because pressure reveals: Who you trust. What you fear. What you really believe. Pressure doesn’t create your faith, it exposes it. Some of us: Worship God when it’s easy. But bow when it’s costly. Forged faith doesn’t bow, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. We don’t decide who we are in the fire, we reveal who you already are. SOUL TATTOO: We are not falling apart, we’re being forged. 2.) The fire frees what binds us. Daniel 3:24-25 (NIV) They went in: Bound Restricted Limited What if the thing we’re trying to avoid, is the thing God wants to use to set us free? Pressure reveals: Fear Control Insecurity They didn’t just survive the fire, they met Jesus in it. If we won’t bow in the pressure, we’ll walk with God in the fire. We may not feel God before the fire, but we’ll know Him in it. SOUL TATTOO: We are not falling apart, we’re being forged. 3.) What we refuse to bow to, God will use. Daniel 3:28-30 (NIV) Our stand doesn’t just affect us, it affects: Our family. Our workplace. Our church. Our city. Our region. Our refusal to bow becomes someone else’s reason to believe. Some of us want impact, without resistance. But impact is forged in pressure. If we avoid the fire, we might forfeit the assignment. Pressure → Process → Purpose… Pressure revealed them. Process freed them. Purpose promoted them. We’re not falling apart, we’re being forged. FORGED RESPONSE MOMENT: Some of us need to stop running from pressure. Some of us need to stop quitting in the process. Some of us need to step into our purpose. God is not committed to our comfort…He’s committed to our calling. If God is allowing the heat, it means He sees something in you worth forging.
