(1 Jul 1987) GS CAS INDIA: 300 people were trapped in a 11-storey office tower 01078706 block in New Delhi when a fire raged through the building. 1"VT+BVU The blaze spread rapidly killing three people and injuring about 80 more. Air force helicopters helped with the rescue although high temperatures and low water pressure hampered fire fighters' efforts.
