BFI/KBFI - Seattle, WA USA Aug 01, 2007 Seafair 2007 week I was up in Seattle visiting my Father and relatives for his 80th birthday, we hit all of the airports BFI-RNT-PAE - more films to follow. This here at BFI, I had a Ford F-350 with an 8ft ladder in the pickup bed to help clear the fence lines - other jet photogs are in the corner, very cool, unsure if Joe Walker, Royal King or others but nice they were able to film with ladders at the fence without being hassled that close. Several cargo jets depart DC-8, 757 and 767s, unsure if UPS were using MD-11F at this time frame, never saw one,,,,but plenty of Boeings. The Alaska 737-800 N583AS (Ln 2333) on taxi to take off was brand new departing for a late PM pre-delivery test flight and had only made it's first flight 2 weeks before on July 16th, 2007, and delv new Aug 12, 2007. I was born in Seattle early 50s and we lived across the street up in the hillside on Mars Ave S., at the north end of the runway. The hill area now covered in trees, but back then, the view was full length. We moved out June 1964 when I-5 was built, we moved to California then, and there is nothing like coming home to BFI.....excuse all glitches and very little editing done.
