Oxhey Jets Youth U13 Match of the Day Episode 6 19/10/25 Oxhey Jets Youth U13 (4-4) Harvesters U13 East Managers Feedback: U13s made the trip to St. Albans to face Harvesters who are also having a good season so we knew it would be another tough test. With Issy missing, we had to revert to last seasons goalkeeper Kelly to replace her. We started strong and for the first 10mins Harvesters couldn't live with us, unfortunately we came up against an amazing keeper who saved or parried everything we threw at him. We had to make an early change when Dev took a knee to the unmentionables We started to lose the battle in midfield and was punished in the 15th minute when we lost the ball and Harvesters capitalised to take the lead (1-0) We rallied and got our equaliser through Freddie with a fantastic solo effort (21 mins, 1-1) Unfortunately the joy was short lived, not switching on from the kick off and Harvesters took the lead once again a min later (2-1) We made 2 changes at halftime and once again took control of the match and got another equaliser 5 mins in, Caitlyn hitting a great shot that the keeper parried and Jack was first to the ball to tap in from close range. (2-2) The roles reversed 5 mins later, Jack turning provider for Caitlyn to fire in a rocket with her weaker left foot to finally give us the lead our play deserved (45 mins, 2-3) Harvesters then drew level themselves in the 60th min (3-3) We regrouped and went in search of the lead again and got it in the 64th min, Freddie firing a shot in that the keeper again parried and once again Jack was first to it to tuck home (3-4) With the clock ticking down it looked like we had won the battle in a very physical battle but unfortunately it wasn't to be. Harvesters putting in a mishit cross that sailed over Kelly's head and straight into the side netting at the far post in injury time (4-4) Not the result we wanted but we remain unbeaten. Some really good performances today. Notable mentions for both Malachi and Miller but P.O.M. had to go to Freddie, once again he was everywhere. As always thank you to our club sponsor Wenzel's and team sponsor Kingsley Estates
