Alex's Homebrew AR Charging Handle.    • DERYA RIA TM22 AR Charging Handle Upgrade ...   The Gen 2 is not suited to pimp to M4 because of the threads in the middle of the barrel that prevents the front sight block to come in contact with the M4 handguard front plate. However, the Gen 1 is not suited to pimp to a M16 pimp because the "L" shape stock is not reusable and I'll assume getting the Gen 2 OEM tube by itself would be difficult. The nut in the back of the Gen 2 tube is crucial to installing a M16 stock. This is a pimp, strictly cosmetic, totally reversable.
